Some Random Chick Reviews Everything

My parents were travelers, connoisseurs, and food critics. Ha! Actually they were just people with lots of opinions and a decent amount of vacation time. I mean we did travel, we did eat out (a lot), we were lucky enough to sometimes enjoy some fine things...but mostly we enjoyed commenting to each other on how things could be improved or praising things when those things were good. They had impeccably high standards, and they passed that on to me.

 Eventually I grew up, became a lawyer (government stuff, I'm useless to you - don't ask), grew up again and stopped being a lawyer, took off to the tropics for a few months to get my life together (my sister lives in Florida. I went to a sub-division in Florida. But “ I took off to the tropics” sounds so much better, right?) and of course, stayed extremely opinionated. I started throwing up reviews of things on social media...a hotel here, a restaurant there, a toy I gave my nephew for his birthday. Finally someone said “You should start a webpage or something.”

 “Yeah, but I‘m just some random chick, who’s gonna read that?”

 Well...you apparently.
